Withdrawal of the reserve from the former family exclusively harvested, distilled, and aged in barrels, stored by Pierre Frapin and his descendants. For this fourth edition of the multi-vintage blend, Olivier Paultes chose the year 1982 for its Rancio style with oxidative notes of dried fruits and nuts (walnuts, hazelnuts), spices, wood, and wax; the year 1983 for its fruity character that, despite its age, is juicy and meaty; and finally, 1985, which creates elegance and finesse, harmonizing and accentuating the vintages of 1982 and 1983.
