The Comendador Reserva range pays tribute to the life and work of Comendador Rui Nabeiro. Complex and elegant, this special wine is aromatically enveloping, suggesting notes of spice, chocolate, wildflowers, and macerated wild fruit. A wine that marks important moments and promises to remain forever in memory. Vinification of Comendador Reserva Red: After manual harvesting and careful selection of bunches, the grapes ferment with controlled temperature in 5000 L French oak vats. The malolactic fermentation took place in 1st and 2nd year French oak barrels, where the wine aged for another 18 months. After selecting the best barrels, it was bottled and rested in the bottle until its release.
