Ginja Espinheira with Fruit is a traditional Portuguese liqueur that can be enjoyed in Lisbon and other locations such as Óbidos and Alcobaça. Made from alcohol and obtained from the maceration of the ginja fruit, a fruit very similar to cherry, both in appearance and taste, and which uses only natural products, without any artificial preservatives in its production. This liqueur is a blend of sweet and bitter with a hint of cinnamon. Due to its sweetness, it becomes very easy to drink. Usually served in small glasses, called shots, it should be consumed in one go. There is the option to savor it with (with them) or without (without them) the Ginja in the glass.
