The Knockando distillery is located on the banks of the River Spey.
Built in 1898 and expanded in 1969, Knockando produces whisky only in certain years. Most of the production is used in J&B Blended whisky; however, there are several single malts available, and this is one of them.
The distillery draws its water from the Cardnach spring. The water from these springs is incredibly pure, and this gives Knockando whisky a particularly unique flavor and character.
