Vinification of Messias Clássico Garrafeira Tinto 2015: Partial destemming of the grapes before entering the press, where they were foot-trodden for 7 days. The alcoholic fermentation finishes in French oak barrels that have been used for wine. The 2-year aging in wood is followed by another year of refinement in bottle at the Messias family cellars located in Bairrada.
