Fruity profile, in a traditional style that already shows some evolution. It is a blend with an average age of 6/7 years. Vinification of Porto Borges Tawny: after receiving the grapes, which should arrive at the winery in perfect condition, they are crushed and destemmed. They ferment for 3 to 4 days with the skins, regularly immersed by pump-overs, for greater extraction of color and aromas. The separation of the skins from the must follows, and to this, grape brandy at 77% v/v is added, so that the wine presents 19% alcohol and 90 to 120 g/l of reducing sugars from the grape itself. Aging takes place in small capacity barrels and wooden casks.
