Porto Maynard's Colheita 1977 Vinification: After a Spring and Summer marked by low temperatures and some humidity, the climate changed drastically from August, providing exceptional conditions for ripening. A small portion of the grapes, in excellent condition, was harvested about a week earlier than usual, taking advantage of the dry and mild weather. The remaining plots were harvested throughout September. The harvest was done manually, with the grapes being sent to stone lagares, where they were foot-trodden for a careful extraction of color, tannins, and aromas. At the end of the harvest, the wine was placed in 600L casks, where it aged quietly until reaching the ideal point to be bottled. Bottled in 2025
