Quinta do Cardo Superior Tinto: Made from organic grapes of the varieties Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Alicante Bouschet, hand-picked at Quinta do Cardo from plots over 25 years old, planted at altitude. It is a wine full of wild fruit, with a juicy mouthfeel, polished tannins, and an enveloping finish. Vinification: the grapes from the three varieties fermented separately in stainless steel tanks, with gentle pump-overs. The entire wine then aged in used French oak barrels.
