"KAH" translates to "life" in the ancient Mayan language, and the Day of the Dead, Día de los Muertos, is actually a celebration of lives lived. The design of the black bottle is inspired by the Nicaraguan tradition of the Day of the Dead. In Nicaragua, in addition to the usual traditions, such as building an altar and offering gifts, many people stay and even sleep in the cemetery. It is believed that this act reinforces the emotional bond between them and their deceased loved ones. KAH Tequila Añejo is produced from 100% blue agave and aged in American oak barrels for at least 12 months, being bottled at 40% ABV (80 proof).
